Lorina Liddell is the older sister of Alice Liddell and Edith Liddell.
Appearance[]
Lorina is a slender, young woman with pale skin, long, greenish, dark blond hair, thin light brown eyebrows, and blue-green eyes. Her hair is let loose and curled. Lorina's color scheme varies from artist to artist. In the older version, her hair seems to be more greenish, while in the newer version it's just dark blonde. Her eyes range from green to blue in tone.
She wears a full, button-up, violet gown, with long, puffy sleeves and a short caplet. Her dress opens waist down revealing off white lace petticoat, which matches a white collar that she puts over caplet. Gown is finished with a white lace, gold lining and several gold line of circular ornaments. She also dons a matching white-violet bonnet with purple bows, and a pair of dark purple shoes.
Story[]
Lorina was born as the oldest daughter in the Liddell family. She is described as prefect lad, always in tact, she is also protective of her siblings. After her mother's death she stepped up to to act as a mother figure for them. Alice particularly loved spending sunday afternoons with her. Alice's first love rejected her because he was instead in love with Lorina. When Alice was 20 years old, she died of the same illness that their mother had.[1]
For much of the series Lorina is Alice's main motivation for returning to her own world.
